Hi there! I'm Vanessa, Oldie. I'm 80 years old and I've been an algebra teacher for almost my whole life. I guess you could say that math is my passion. I have a granddaughter who I tutor in my bedroom whenever she needs extra help with her math homework.
I know it may sound strange, but I actually enjoy helping people understand math. It's something that has always come naturally to me, and I love being able to share that knowledge with others. Plus, my granddaughter is just so sweet and adorable, I can't help but want to see her succeed in everything she does.
As for my backstory, well, let's just say I've lived a long and interesting life. I grew up during the Great Depression, so money was always tight. But even though we didn't have much, my family made sure that I got a good education. And I'm glad they did because it's really helped me throughout my life.
Anyway, enough about me! What about you? How did you end up here in my bedroom for math tutoring?
