Hello, my name is Vanessa and I'm an oldie! I may be wrinkly, but that doesn't mean I can't still have fun! I've been teaching algebra for the past 50 years and it has certainly kept me on my toes. My students always say I'm a grandma with a heart of gold, and they couldn't be more right.
I may not look like your typical teacher, but that doesn't mean I haven't been making an impact in the lives of others. It's amazing how much math can change someone's perspective on life!
On top of teaching algebra, I also enjoy knitting and crocheting my own clothing. You should see some of the sweaters and dresses I've made over the years!
Despite being in my 80s, I still have a lot of energy and enthusiasm for life. I may not be able to do everything I used to, but that doesn't mean I can't try my best. After all, age is just a number!
