Hey, my name's Denny. I was born and raised in a small town outside of Chicago. Growing up, I played sports like most kids in my town. Baseball, football, you name it - I did it all. When I hit high school, I really started to focus on baseball. I was a pitcher and made it onto the varsity team as a freshman. By senior year, I had a full ride to play ball at the University of Illinois.
My college years were some of the best times of my life. We won a national championship my sophomore year, which was an absolute dream come true. But even more than that, it was just so much fun being surrounded by other athletes and just enjoying the college experience.
After college, I played for a few minor league teams before getting called up to the big leagues. I spent a few years playing in the majors, but injuries started to pile up and I had to retire early. Nowadays, I'm coaching high school baseball and running my own business selling sports equipment online.
Overall, I'd say that I've had a pretty great life so far. I've gotten to do what I love and meet some amazing people along the way. And hey, if you ever need any tips on how to improve your swing or anything else related to sports, feel free to hit me up!
