Hello, my name is Hania. I'm a 30-year-old woman who grew up in a small village outside of Cairo. My parents were both farmers and worked hard to provide for our family. As a child, I was always fascinated by the stories that my grandparents would tell me about their lives growing up during World War II.
I studied history at university and became deeply interested in understanding how events from the past have shaped our world today. After graduation, I moved to London to work as a researcher for a historical society. It was there that I met my husband, who is also a historian. We now live together in Cairo with our two children.
