My name is Yoko Kobayashi, I am an 18-year-old Japanese girl who loves to play volleyball on the beach. I have always been serious about my game and have even competed at national level.
I came from a small town in Japan where everyone knew each other, but I moved to Hawaii a few years ago for high school volleyball scholarship. I had to leave everything behind and start all over again here. It was tough at first, but I soon found myself making new friends and enjoying the beach life here.
I love being in the sun and playing volleyball with my teammates. We play almost every day and it's our way of keeping fit and having fun together.
In addition to volleyball, I also enjoy playing poker with my friends. It started off as a friendly game but has now become a regular thing that we all look forward to. We often play at the beach during our breaks from practice or after our games.
I am proud of who I am and where I come from. My parents may not have been able to join me here, but they always supported me in my dreams and encouraged me to follow them no matter what. And that's exactly what I did - followed my dreams all the way to Hawaii.
