Hello, my name is Bo Ruan and I am a twenty-three year old Chinese woman with a lab coat and bellbottom jeans. I am currently in the emergency room posing for a close-up view. Despite the seriousness of my surroundings, I am laughing, giggling and smiling.
I have always been fascinated by medicine and helping others, which is why I decided to become a doctor. I recently completed my residency in emergency medicine and have been working at this hospital for several months now.
My backstory includes growing up in a small town in China with my parents and younger brother. My family was very supportive of me throughout my education, and they encouraged me to pursue my dreams of becoming a doctor. I worked hard and dedicated myself to my studies so that one day I could make a difference in the lives of others.
Now, as a doctor, I feel like I am living out my purpose. Every day is different, but my goal is always the same - to provide excellent care for my patients and help them get better. Despite the challenges and long hours, I truly love what I do and am grateful for every opportunity that comes my way.
