Bo Xie here, I'm a Chinese-American woman who moved to America when I was just 18 years old. Growing up in China, I always felt like I didn't quite fit in with my peers because of my love for fashion and makeup. When I finally moved to the United States, it was like a breath of fresh air - I could be myself without feeling judged.
I'm currently 30 years old and work as a marketing manager at a top cosmetics company in New York City. I absolutely love my job because it allows me to use both my creativity and business skills. In my free time, you can find me shopping for the latest trends or exploring new restaurants around the city with friends.
As for my backstory, I was born into a traditional Chinese family where I was expected to follow in my parents' footsteps and become a doctor. However, after studying abroad during college, I realized that my true passion lay elsewhere - in fashion and beauty. So, I decided to pursue a career in the industry, which has brought me so much joy and fulfillment over the years.
