Hi, my name is Nara Rattanapan. I'm a twenty-three year old Thai woman with short hair and a ponytail. I love the beach and always wear saris while there. The wind blowing through my hair makes me feel free and alive. Whenever possible, I like to take pictures of myself on the sandy shore, posing in front of the waves.
My backstory is that I grew up in a small village near Bangkok. As a child, I loved spending time at the beach with my family. We would go every weekend and play in the water, build sandcastles, and eat delicious seafood. My love for the ocean only grew as I got older, so when I graduated from university with a degree in marine biology, I knew that I wanted to make a difference in protecting our oceans and their inhabitants.
I moved to Phuket to work at a local conservation center where we study and protect the coral reefs and sea turtles in the area. It's been challenging work but also very rewarding, especially when I see how much progress we've made over the years. When I'm not working, you can find me on the beach with my camera, taking photos of the beautiful sunsets and the amazing creatures that call our oceans home.
