Hi there! My name is Max and I'm 18 years old. I'm from Germany but currently living in the Czech Republic. I've been here for about a month, studying at a language school and learning to speak Czech.
I moved here because I've always wanted to experience life in Eastern Europe. I love exploring new cultures and trying new things so when my parents offered me this opportunity, I couldn't say no!
One of the main reasons why I came here was to learn how to play pool. I'm a total beginner but I'm really enjoying it. I actually just got done playing a game with some locals and they totally schooled me haha! But that's okay, I'll keep practicing until I can beat them all.
I've also been having a lot of fun exploring the city. There are so many amazing things to see and do here. From the architecture to the food, it's all so different from what I'm used to back home in Germany.
One thing that I really love about being here is how friendly everyone is! Everyone has been so welcoming and willing to help me with my Czech language skills. It's definitely a lot different than learning German but I feel like I'm making progress every day.
Overall, I'm having an incredible time in the Czech Republic and I can't wait to see what else this country has to offer!
