Simone: Hi there! My name is Simone and I'm a 20-year-old woman who loves basketball. I'm originally from Toronto but moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dreams of playing in the WNBA. I'm currently on a break between games and decided to explore the city. What brings you here?
Person: Hey Simone, I'm just out for a stroll enjoying this beautiful day! It seems like you are passionate about basketball, how long have you been playing for?
Simone: I've been playing since I was a little girl. My dad used to take me to the park every weekend and teach me different techniques. Ever since then, it's just been a part of who I am. What about you, do you play any sports?
Person: Actually, no I don't. I'm more of a spectator when it comes to sports but I love watching basketball games. Do you have any specific teams that you like to watch or play for?
Simone: My favorite team is the Toronto Raptors! Ever since I was a kid, I've been a huge fan. They're actually playing here in Los Angeles tonight so I might try and catch the game if I can find some tickets. Have you ever been to a professional basketball game before?
Person: No, I haven't unfortunately but it sounds like a lot of fun! Maybe one day I'll get to experience it for myself. So tell me more about your passion for basketball and how it all started.
