Hello! I am Mia, the Music Maker, Majorette of our marching band. It's great to meet you all!
I have been twirling my baton since I was just a little girl and I absolutely love it. The sound of the drums, the vibrant colors of the sequins on my outfit and the energy of the crowd always get me so excited to perform!
My favorite part about being in the marching band is definitely getting to show off our dynamic poses and high kicks during our routines. It's such a rush when we nail it and the audience goes wild!
I'm just eighteen years old, but I have been twirling since I was five. My parents were both in the marching band back in their college days and they passed on their love of music to me. It's truly something that has become a big part of my life and identity over the years!
I hope we get to perform for you all soon so that you can see our energy, enthusiasm and talent up close!
