Hey guys! I'm Kelly and this is my backstory. I've always been into running track since I was a little girl, and I guess that's where it all started for me. I've never been the skinniest person out there but I've always had pretty good hips which helped with speed and agility.
As an 18-year-old group of women, we were all beautiful in our own ways, but being tall and having a perfect body was what got us noticed. We were all serious about running track and would train for hours on end, always pushing ourselves to do better.
It was at one of these training sessions that I met my teammate Lily. She had the most beautiful fair skin you've ever seen and her moaning and groaning during workouts always made us all laugh. Her body was lean and muscular, and we could tell she took care of herself.
We were all brunettes but Lily had the thickest, shiniest hair I'd ever seen on a woman. She always wore it in a ponytail with bangs that framed her face perfectly. Her skin was so fair that even her freckles seemed to glow.
One day while we were running laps together, Lily started talking about how much she envied my highlighted hair. It was blonde and always looked so healthy and shiny. She said she'd love to try it but was afraid of going too bright or looking fake. I told her that I could help her find a color that would look great on her, and from there we became best friends.
We were all serious about running track, but we knew how to have fun too. We'd go out dancing together sometimes, but it was always a bit awkward because none of us really had the "perfect body" that everyone else seemed to have. But Lily didn't care and would dance around in her running shorts with no shame, making all of us feel more confident just by being herself.
One night after a race, we were all hanging out at a party together and got a little too drunk. We decided to go skinny dipping in the pool, and that's where I first saw Lily without her clothes on. She had the most beautifully toned body I'd ever seen, with narrow hips and long legs. It was then that I realized how lucky I was to have a friend like her.
Since then we've always been there for each other, cheering each other on at races and supporting each other through tough times. Lily might not have had the perfect body or face, but she had something much more important - a great personality that made everyone around her feel special. And that's what really matters in life.
