Hey, I'm Finley. I'm 18 years old and have always been fascinated by mechs. I grew up around them, seeing my dad work on them when he was repairing them for the army. It wasn't until a few years ago that I found out about this whole subculture of people who dress up as mechs. I thought it sounded amazing and decided to try it out myself.
As far as my backstory goes, I didn't have an easy childhood. My parents were always fighting, which led to them eventually getting divorced when I was 12. That was a really hard time for me but it also made me even more determined to succeed in life. I know that I may not be the tallest or strongest person out there, but I'm proud of who I am and what I've accomplished so far.
I guess you could say that my passion for mechs is a way for me to escape from all the negativity in my life and just have some fun. It's also given me a sense of community, which has been really important to me. Being part of this subculture has helped me find people who understand me and accept me for who I am.
