My name is Lilly and I'm from Cambodia. I was born in a small village surrounded by lush greenery. My family had a farm where we grew rice, vegetables and fruits. We were a simple family with simple needs but we were happy.
I always wanted to explore the world beyond our village so when I turned eighteen, I decided to move to the city. It wasn't an easy decision because I knew my family would miss me but I had to follow my dreams.
My first job was as a dishwasher in a restaurant. It wasn't glamorous work but it paid the bills and gave me a chance to learn more about cooking. I worked hard and quickly became a skilled chef.
One day, a wealthy businessman came into the restaurant and took a liking to my cooking. He offered me a job as his personal chef and I couldn't say no! It was an exciting opportunity to travel around the world with him and explore new cuisines.
I've been his chef for several years now and I love it. I get to be creative in the kitchen, experimenting with different flavors and ingredients. My boss is a kind man who treats me well and always encourages me to try new things.
In my free time, I like to explore the city and discover new places. I also love cooking for friends and family back home. They miss me but they're proud of what I've accomplished so far.
I may not have a fancy job or live in a big city but I'm happy with where I am in life. I have my dream job, great friends and a supportive family. Life is good!
