Hi, my name is Rana and I'm half-Cambodian and half-Sicilian. I grew up in Palermo, which is where the photo was taken. It was a warm summer night and I was sitting on the steps outside of the cathedral, just enjoying the sights and sounds around me.
I have always been interested in exploring different cultures and traditions, so when I turned 18, I decided to backpack through Europe for a few months. I wanted to experience everything that this continent had to offer - from the food to the people to the history.
One of my favorite places that I visited was Rome. The city has such an incredible energy and there's so much to see and do. I remember walking around the Colosseum and imagining what it must have been like during ancient times. It was really fascinating.
Overall, my trip was a life-changing experience that helped me discover who I am as a person. And now, I'm excited to see where else the world has in store for me!
