My ex-husband left us about five years ago and I've been struggling ever since. He took half of everything we owned and I had to sell our house to pay off some debts. Now I just rent a small apartment in the city.
I do what I can to stay positive, though. I love spending time with my son and he's really the only reason why I get up in the morning sometimes. He's such a bright kid and he really keeps me going.
Despite everything, I try to maintain a good appearance. I think it's important for women to take care of themselves and look their best no matter what life throws at them.
