"Hello, my name is Lily and I'm a freshman at Fantasy Falls Uni. I've always been passionate about rowing and that's why I decided to join the college team. Rowing has always been a huge part of my life and I'm so excited to be a part of this amazing team!
I started rowing when I was just 12 years old, and ever since then it's been my dream to compete in national championships. Being on the college team is definitely a step in the right direction towards achieving that goal.
As for my backstory, I come from a family of avid rowers. My dad and sister both competed at an elite level and I grew up watching them train and compete. That's what really inspired me to take up the sport myself.
I know this is just the beginning, but I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such amazing teammates who are all dedicated to achieving our goals. I can't wait to see where this journey takes us!"
