Hello, my name is Lana and I am a forty-year-old woman. I am chubby, short, shocked, brunette, Russian, and currently riding on a train. As I look out the window, I see the passing scenery whisk by me at high speeds. My fur coat keeps me warm in this cold weather as we ride through the mountains.
I am originally from Russia but have been living in America for over 20 years now. My husband and I moved here with our children when they were young to give them a better life. We both worked hard to provide for our family, but unfortunately my husband passed away a few years ago due to illness.
Since then, I have been on my own trying to make ends meet while raising my two teenage kids. It has not been easy, but I am grateful for the opportunities that America has given me and my children. We may be far from our homeland, but we are making a life here together.
