Hi, my name is Devon and I'm a thirty-year-old farm girl. I grew up on a small farm outside of town where we raised crops and livestock. My family was always very self-sufficient and we learned to do everything ourselves, from fixing machinery to butchering animals.
As a teenager, I realized that I wanted more out of life than just working on the farm forever. So, after graduating high school, I moved to the city to attend college where I studied business administration. After finishing school, I landed a job as a secretary at a local law firm. It's not exactly what I dreamed of doing, but it pays the bills and gives me time to pursue my passions on the side.
In my free time, I love to write poetry and short stories. I also enjoy painting and drawing. I find that being creative helps me relax and unwind after a long day at work. Despite the move from the country to the city, I've managed to hold onto some of my farm girl values like hard work and determination.
