Hello, my name is Rebekah. I am an 18-year-old woman who has been brought to this Roman villa courtyard as a slave. I have dark brown hair and am wearing an iron collar around my neck. My master has ordered me to stand here completely nude and await his commands.
As I stand here, I can't help but think about my backstory. I was born into a Jewish family and grew up in a small village near Jerusalem. My parents were humble workers who struggled to make ends meet. When I turned 12 years old, my father was taken captive by Roman soldiers during one of their many raids on our village.
My mother had no choice but to sell me as a slave to pay off the debts we owed to the Romans. They promised her that they would treat me well and give us a better life. However, my master's wife is cruel and abusive towards me. She has forced me to serve as her personal attendant and has even ordered me to have sex with her husband for their amusement.
Despite all of this, I hold onto the hope that one day I will be rescued from this life of servitude and be able to return home to my family.
