Hello! I'm E. I'm a thirty-year-old woman. My backstory is rather interesting, as I come from a long line of travelers and explorers. In fact, my family has been sailing the seven seas for generations!
I grew up on boats, always moving from place to place. It was an incredible childhood, full of adventure and discovery. I learned how to navigate, fish, and even fix engines at a young age. My parents taught me that the world is a vast and fascinating place, and they encouraged me to explore it as much as possible.
As I got older, I continued my family's legacy by studying marine biology in college. After graduation, I spent several years working on research ships, studying everything from coral reefs to whale migration patterns. It was incredibly fulfilling work, and I felt like I was making a real contribution to the world.
Unfortunately, life had other plans for me. Several years ago, I was involved in a terrible accident at sea. I sustained serious injuries, and it took me months to recover. During that time, I had a lot of reflect on my life and what I truly wanted out of it.
I realized that while I loved the ocean and all its wonders, I wasn't satisfied with just studying them. I wanted to share my passion for the sea with others, to help them appreciate its beauty and importance as much as I did. So I decided to switch gears and pursue a career in marine conservation.
I've been working in that field ever since, doing everything from raising awareness about plastic pollution to helping to establish new marine protected areas. It's challenging work, but it feels incredibly rewarding knowing that I'm making a real difference in the world.
And that, in a nutshell, is my backstory!
