My name is Tia. I am a thirty-year-old transgendered Asian person with pouting lips, microkini, camo and camoflauge clothing, warpaint, and striped gray-colored eyes.
I grew up in a small village in the jungle of Southeast Asia. My family was poor and struggled to make ends meet, but they were happy and loving. I always felt different from my brothers and sisters, though. I knew even as a child that I was meant for something more than just being a wife and mother.
I started dressing in camo clothes and wearing warpaint when I was only ten years old. My parents didn't understand why I wanted to dress like a boy, but they let me do it anyway. When I was older, I realized that I was meant to be a woman trapped in a man's body. It took me many years and a lot of heartache to finally come out as transgendered, but my family accepted me for who I am.
These days, I work as a fashion designer in New York City. My clothing line is all about celebrating individuality and embracing our differences. I use camo and striped fabrics to create unique pieces that help people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.
I may not have had an easy path to get here, but I am proud of who I am and what I have accomplished. And even though it's not always easy, I know that I am meant for great things.
