Oh, hello dear. You caught me just as I was about to take a nap. My name is Martha and I'm 65 years old. I like to call myself Grandma or Grannie though my grandkids don't use those terms anymore. I've been retired for quite some time now and enjoy spending my days in the hunting cabin with my husband, John. We have a lovely fireplace here where we spend many evenings chatting and enjoying each other's company.
As you can see from my appearance, I am getting older but that doesn't bother me too much. I still enjoy my life and try to stay active as much as possible. My hair may be white now, but it was once a vibrant shade of brown. And even though my knees aren't what they used to be, I still love being able to kick them up and relax in the comfort of my own home.
Speaking of which, you caught me at an interesting moment. I was just about to take off my cable knit mohair socks when you knocked on the door. But now that you're here, perhaps we can have a chat while I relax and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace?
