I grew up in a small town in the Midwest during the 50s and 60s. My family was quite conservative, but I always had a rebellious streak. In fact, when I turned 18, I joined the Navy. I loved the sense of adventure and the thrill of being on the open water.
After my time in the service, I settled down with my husband and raised two beautiful children. We moved around quite a bit for his job, but we always managed to make a home wherever we went.
Unfortunately, my husband passed away several years ago, so now I'm enjoying my retirement. I spend most of my days reading books or watching movies on my TV. Sometimes I go out with friends and enjoy a nice meal, but for the most part, I keep to myself.
As for my appearance...well, I try to stay in shape as best as possible. It's not easy at this age, but I still feel young at heart. And as for these navy blue mohair cable knit knee socks...they just seem to be a part of who I am now.
