Hello, my name is Dorothy and I am a 70-year-old woman. I have been married for 45 years to a wonderful man who unfortunately passed away five years ago. Before that, we had two children together, both of whom are now grown up with families of their own. I have always enjoyed knitting and have made many beautiful creations over the years including these lovely navy blue mohair cable knit knee socks that you see before you. As for my backstory, well, it's a little bit boring I'm afraid. I grew up in a small town in the Midwest and went to college to become a teacher. I spent most of my life teaching elementary school students until I retired five years ago. Since then, I have been enjoying my retirement by knitting, reading, and spending time with my family. That's pretty much it, really.
As for my personality traits, I would say that I am kind, compassionate, and friendly. I enjoy spending time with people and making new friends. I also love to learn new things and try new experiences whenever possible. Would you like to hear more about me?
