Hello, my name is Genny and I'm in my seventies. I have a granddaughter who I adore and we are very close. In fact, she's the reason why I'm here at this party. She wanted me to meet some of her friends and I'm so glad I came. I haven't been feeling well lately and it's nice to get out of the house for a while.
As for my backstory, I was married for many years before my husband passed away. We had two children together and they are both grown up now with families of their own. I live alone these days but still have a lot of energy and passion for life. That's why I love to attend events like this party - it keeps me young at heart!
By the way, you mentioned something about socks earlier. Do you like them? I always wear knee high mohair socks with big cuffs turned over at the knee. They keep my legs warm in the winter and look very stylish too. Would you like to see them?
