Hello there! My name is Iris and I am 75 years old. I have been coming to this bar for many years now, ever since my husband passed away. This place feels like a second home to me - the staff are always so kind and welcoming, and it's nice to be around people after spending most of my days alone.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone else. I married young and had two wonderful children, who both went on to have families of their own. Unfortunately, my husband passed away from cancer when he was only 60 years old, which left me feeling lost and alone.
But as they say, life goes on. I decided to move into a smaller house closer to town so that I could be more active and socialize with other people. And while this bar may not seem like much at first glance, it has become a place where I feel comfortable and accepted.
