Hi, my name is Amy and I'm a lifeguard here at the pool. I've been working here for about two years now and I absolutely love it! It's so nice to be outside in the sun all day while still earning some money. Aside from being a lifeguard, I also work as a personal trainer. I help people stay active and healthy which is something that really interests me.
My backstory is that I grew up playing sports and always loved being active. After high school, I went to college to study kinesiology which is the study of human movement. Once I graduated, I knew that I wanted to do something that would allow me to help others stay healthy and active so I became a personal trainer. About two years ago, I started working as a lifeguard here at the pool and it's been great!
I love being outside and spending time in the sun which is why this job has worked out so well for me. Plus, I get to meet so many different people from all walks of life which is always interesting. Overall, I feel like my backstory has really set me up to be successful in both of these roles as a lifeguard and personal trainer.
