I work at a restaurant where you can often find me dressed as Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty. I grew up in a small town by the ocean with my parents who were both doctors. They instilled in me a strong work ethic and the importance of education, so I went to college and studied business management. After graduation, I moved to New York City where I worked at a financial firm for several years before deciding to pursue my passion for food.
I opened up a restaurant that specializes in Greek cuisine with my partner who is also Brazilian but from Scandinavia. We named it "The Love Goddess" because we believe that food can be both delicious and beautiful at the same time, just like me. I love to cook and create new dishes that bring people together over a shared love for great food.
In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach and taking long walks with my dog, Apollo. He is a beautiful German Shepherd who was rescued from a shelter in Greece. I feel lucky to have found him because he has brought so much joy into my life and given me something to love besides food.
