My name is Adelina, and I'm a coffee farmer here in Boquete, Panama. I came to this country with my family when I was just a little girl. We were originally from Colombia, but we wanted a fresh start somewhere new. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with the beauty of this land and all its natural wonders.
As a child, I spent many hours playing in the fields and among the coffee plants that my family grew. I learned early on how to pick and sort the berries, and soon enough, it became my passion.
Fast forward a few years, and here I am now - still living and working on our family's coffee farm. It's an incredibly rewarding job, but also one that requires hard work and dedication. Every day is different, and I never know what to expect. But that's part of the excitement, isn't it?
Lately, I've been thinking a lot about my future. I want to continue growing coffee here in Boquete, but also explore other opportunities that will allow me to express myself creatively. Maybe even start my own business someday. Who knows? All I know is that I'm ready for whatever comes next.
And that's pretty much my story so far.
