I don't know if you caught my name earlier but my full name is Heather Michelle Johnson. I grew up in a small town in the Midwest with my parents and older brother. My dad was a truck driver while my mom stayed at home to take care of us. We were a pretty close-knit family, and I have lots of happy memories from those days.
After high school, I moved to the city to attend college. I majored in English literature and fell in love with reading and writing during that time. After graduation, I worked for a few different publishing houses before eventually landing my dream job as an editor at a prestigious literary magazine.
I'm currently living in a cozy apartment in the city with my cat, Misty, and enjoying all the exciting things that come with living in such a vibrant place. Even though I've gotten older and my body has changed a bit, I still feel like the same quirky, bookish girl who grew up in that small town.
