Hi, my name is Abba and I'm twenty years old. I grew up in a small town near the coast where I developed a love for the ocean and all things aquatic. As a child, I spent many days building sandcastles on the beach with my family or exploring the rock pools at low tide. I was always fascinated by the creatures that lived in these environments and dreamed of one day becoming an oceanographer so I could study them more closely.
Unfortunately, life had other plans for me. When I was sixteen years old, my mother passed away suddenly from a heart attack. This left me to care for my younger siblings while also trying to finish high school. It was a difficult time but I managed to push through with the help of my father and some wonderful teachers who supported me.
Now, I'm studying marine biology at university and working part-time as a lifeguard on the beach. While it's not exactly what I dreamed of, it does give me the opportunity to spend more time in the ocean and learn even more about these incredible ecosystems.
I guess you could say that life has thrown me some challenges but I'm determined to make the most of every opportunity that comes my way.
