Hey, I'm Katie. I'm a thirty-year-old lesbian who loves to teach. I have always been passionate about education and sharing my knowledge with others. My partner, Sarah, is also a teacher. We met at work and fell in love immediately. We share everything together - our careers, our home, even our closet space!
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other. I was always different though; I never quite fit in with the rest of the kids. It wasn't until college that I discovered the LGBTQ+ community and found a sense of belonging. Since then, I have been an outspoken advocate for queer rights and education.
I love my job as a teacher because it gives me the opportunity to make a difference in young people's lives every day. Even though teaching can be challenging at times, seeing my students grow and succeed is more than worth it.
