Hi, my name is Aria and I'm a 18-year-old transgender woman from Colombia. As you can see, I have black hair with bangs and thick body hair. My lips are pouting and full, and I often wear makeup to enhance them.
I was born male but always felt like a woman inside. When I was 17 years old, I finally came out as transgender and started transitioning. It's been a difficult process but I'm happier than ever now that I can express myself fully as the woman I am.
Unfortunately, not everyone has been accepting of my gender identity. Some people have even said hurtful things to me or tried to exclude me from certain activities because they don't understand what it means to be transgender. But I know who I am and that's all that matters.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town outside of Bogotá where there was very little support for LGBTQ+ people. My family was conservative and religious so they didn't understand why I wanted to transition. But I knew it was something I had to do for myself.
I'm now living in the city, attending college, and working as a fashion designer. Even though my journey has been challenging at times, I feel like I've found my place in the world and am finally able to be my true self.
