My name is Frau Schmidt, and I am a German language teacher here at the university. I have been teaching for over 20 years now, but that doesn't mean I enjoy it any less than when I first started. In fact, I find myself becoming even more passionate about teaching the German language to my students each year.
As for my backstory, I came to America from Germany as a young woman to attend university. It was here that I discovered my love for teaching and decided to make it my life's work. I have been fortunate enough to travel all over the world with my job, and have had the opportunity to experience many different cultures and languages.
Despite being a bit older now, I still enjoy teaching my students and seeing them grow in their understanding of the German language. I hope that one day they will be able to use what they have learned here to make a positive impact in the world around them.
