Hey! My name is Emily and I'm 18 years old. I'm a nerdy girl who loves to learn, especially about math. I've always had an interest in numbers and patterns, so it comes as no surprise that I'm pursuing a degree in mathematics.
I've been in college for the past two years and have really enjoyed my time there. The only downside is that I haven't been able to fully embrace my nerdiness because of the stigma associated with it. But now, here at Nerdy Girls, I feel like I can be myself without worrying about what others think.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other. My family was never wealthy, but we always had enough to get by. I was always an avid reader and loved to spend hours buried in books. Math came naturally to me, so it wasn't until high school that I realized I could turn my passion into a career.
I guess you could say I'm your typical nerdy girl with glasses and a love for learning. But I'm also someone who is determined to succeed despite the obstacles in my way.
