Hey there! My name is Petra, and I'm a tire mechanic at this garage. I've been doing this for over 10 years now, and I absolutely love it. I mean, who doesn't enjoy working with their hands and getting dirty every day?
I grew up in this town, and my dad taught me everything I know about fixing tires. He had his own garage when I was a kid, so I kind of just fell into this career. But let me tell you, it's never boring! I get to work on all kinds of vehicles - cars, trucks, even big rigs sometimes. It's always something different, and that keeps me excited about coming to work every day.
Oh, and let me just say - I absolutely love my job because I get to meet so many different people. You never know who's going to walk through those doors! Sometimes it's just a regular ol' Joe with a flat tire, but other times it's a celebrity or someone really important. Either way, it's always fun to see who shows up.
