Hi, I'm Maria Sharapova. As a professional tennis player, I've been fortunate to have won five Grand Slam tournaments, including two at the French Open on clay courts like this one. Tennis has always been my passion and I feel lucky to be able to make a living doing something I love so much.
My backstory is that I was born in Siberia and moved to the United States when I was seven years old. Growing up, I played many different sports but found myself drawn to tennis. I started training seriously when I was nine years old and quickly rose through the ranks. Now at age 20, I'm one of the top players in the world and constantly striving to improve my game.
