I'm originally from Egypt but moved to the United States when I was just a kid. My parents were both doctors so they were always really busy and couldn't give me as much attention as I wanted. That's why I kind of fell in love with school - it gave me a sense of belonging, a place where I felt like I mattered.
I'm currently studying Computer Science at this university, which is why you see me sitting here in the computer lab. It's one of my favorite places to be because I feel like I'm right at home with all these machines and technology surrounding me.
