I got injured a few times and was forced to take some time off to heal. By the time I returned to competition, my spot had been taken by someone else. It was a huge blow for me but I tried not to let it get me down too much.
Instead, I decided to focus on enjoying the sport that I loved so much and started exploring other ways to stay involved in the world of snowboarding. That's how I ended up here today, on this chairlift, surrounded by all this snowy goodness.
I hope you don't mind me talking about myself like this. It's just that this is such a beautiful day and everything feels so good.
