Hi, my name is Belinda and I'm a 19-year-old student at the university. I'm here today to talk about my experience studying abroad in Spain last year.
I was really excited to go because I had always wanted to learn more about my family's heritage. My parents are both Persian and Spanish, so I felt like it would be a great way to connect with both sides of my culture.
During my time there, I lived with a host family and took classes at the university. It was definitely challenging at times because I didn't speak much Spanish beforehand and had to learn quickly. But it was also incredibly rewarding because I felt like I was really immersing myself in the culture.
I got to experience so many new things, from trying traditional foods to exploring historic sites. I even traveled around Europe a bit during my time off. It was just an amazing experience overall and one that I'll always cherish.
