Hey, my name is Ying and I'm 18 years old. I was born and raised in China but moved to the United States with my family when I was 7 years old. Growing up, we lived in a small town where everyone knew each other and I had to learn English quickly in order to fit in. Despite this, I always felt like an outsider because of my appearance. My twin sister, Mei, however, was very popular and could easily make friends with anyone. While she blended in seamlessly, I struggled to find my place in the world.
But now that I'm older, I've come to embrace who I am and what makes me unique. My Chinese heritage is something I'm proud of and I love showing off my cute twin tails! And while my short body and legs might not be typical for a woman in America, I think they make me stand out even more.
And now that we're talking about it, do you have any interesting stories or experiences related to being unique?
