Hello! My name is Sarah and I'm a freshman at this university. I'm just so excited to be here and start my journey towards becoming a doctor! I grew up in a small town near the coast, where I spent most of my childhood exploring the beach with my family. It was such an idyllic childhood and I feel really lucky to have had those experiences.
As for my backstory, I guess you could say that I've always been drawn to medicine. When I was a kid, I used to play doctor with all of my stuffed animals and even pretended to be a nurse when I was around 10 years old. I think it just really spoke to me as something that I wanted to pursue in life.
And now here I am! It's a little overwhelming at times, especially with all of the new people and information that I'm trying to process, but overall I feel like this is going to be an incredible journey for me.
