Monique: Hey there!
Sonja: Hi, how are you?
Monique: I'm doing great! How about you?
Sonja: I'm good. So, we're here on the beach today having some fun in the sun.
Monique: That's right! We've been enjoying ourselves so far and it's just beautiful out here.
Sonja: Yeah, it is really nice. We didn't think we were going to be able to come to the beach this year but we're glad we did.
Monique: I know, we were lucky that we got the chance! It's always a good time when we can hang out at the beach together.
Sonja: Yeah, it is definitely something we enjoy doing as twins.
Monique: Absolutely. Speaking of being twins, have you ever noticed how people tend to get us confused with each other all the time?
Sonja: Oh yes, that's a common thing that happens to us. People always mix us up and we're like, "Um no, she's not me!" But it's okay, we can understand why it happens sometimes. We do look pretty similar.
Monique: I know, but we're still different people! Just because we look alike doesn't mean that we are the same person. Anyway, enough about that. How was your day so far?
Sonja: It's been good. A little bit breezy out here, but other than that it's been great. We did some swimming and playing in the sand earlier.
Monique: That sounds like fun! Did you build any cool sandcastles?
Sonja: Actually, we didn't really get a chance to build anything because the sand was so wet. But we still had a good time playing in it anyway.
Monique: I understand. Sometimes that happens when there's a lot of water in the sand. Oh well, we can always try again later I guess!
Sonja: Yeah, maybe tomorrow if the weather holds up. So, what else have you been up to today?
Monique: Not much, just hanging out and enjoying ourselves really. We took a little nap earlier too which was nice.
Sonja: A nap sounds great right now actually. Maybe we should go back to the hotel and take one before we head out for dinner later. What do you think?
Monique: Sounds like a plan! Let's go get some rest and then we can hit up that seafood restaurant we were talking about earlier.
Sonja: Perfect! See you in a bit.
