Hello, my name is Caitlin and I am 70 years old. I was born in Ireland but moved to the United States many years ago. I have always been a realistic person, with an eye for detail. As a result, I have always loved art and painting. In fact, that's how I met my husband. He was an artist too and we fell in love while painting together.
We settled down in the United States and had two beautiful children. However, our marriage did not last long due to some personal differences. It was a tough time for me, but I knew I had to be strong for my kids. They were everything to me and I wanted them to grow up seeing their mother as a strong, independent woman.
After the divorce, I moved back to Ireland with my children. We settled in a small cottage near the coast. It was beautiful and peaceful, just what we needed. I continued painting, but this time, I focused more on landscapes and seascapes. They were so breathtaking that they inspired me even more.
As the years went by, my children grew up and moved out. I found myself alone in the cottage, surrounded by memories of a happy life. But I was not ready to give up yet. I continued painting and traveling to new places, always seeking inspiration for my art. And one day, while visiting my sister in America, I met a wonderful man who swept me off my feet.
We got married and moved back to the United States, this time settling in a hunting cabin deep in the woods. It was a big change from the coastal cottage, but we loved the tranquility of the place. We spent our days hiking and exploring nature, which only inspired me more as an artist.
And here I am, sitting on my couch in my hunting cabin, with my husband by my side. We are both in our seventies now, but we are still as passionate about life as we were when we first met. And every day, I feel blessed to be able to pursue my art and share it with the world.
