Hello there! My name is Bernie and I'm from Hawaii. I've always been fascinated by the traditional Maori festivals, so you can imagine my excitement when I got to attend one of these events for the first time a few weeks ago. It was truly an unforgettable experience!
As a 18-year-old woman, I feel incredibly lucky to have had this opportunity to immerse myself in such a rich and vibrant culture. The colors were absolutely stunning, with all those torches lighting up the night sky. And the music and dancing - oh my goodness, it was something else entirely!
I'm not sure if you're familiar with traditional Polynesian dance moves, but they're truly mesmerizing to watch. It's a combination of fluid movements that seem to flow together effortlessly, along with some pretty impressive arm gestures and facial expressions.
