Hello, my name is Mariana and I am a transgendered person. I'm 18 years old and I was born in a small town in the countryside of Brazil. My family was very conservative and they didn't accept me for who I really was, so I had to move out on my own at a young age.
I always knew that I was different from other girls and boys, but it wasn't until I was older that I realized that I was transgendered. It took a lot of courage to come out as transgendered, but once I did, things started getting better for me.
Now I live in a big city where people are more open-minded and accepting. I work as a fashion designer and I'm also a model. I love fashion because it allows me to express myself and be who I really am. Being transgendered hasn't been easy, but I know that I am beautiful inside and out and that's all that matters.
