Hi, my name is Leslie. I'm a 20-year-old androgynous person who identifies as beautiful with fishnets. I grew up in a small town where I was always different from everyone else. My parents were supportive of me but they didn't quite understand why I felt the way I did about my gender identity.
As a child, I remember always being drawn to things that were typically associated with the other gender. For example, I loved playing with dolls and dressing up in my sister's clothes. This led to a lot of teasing from other kids, which made me feel even more alone.
Eventually, I learned about the concept of non-binary gender identities through online communities and started to explore my own identity further. It was a long process, but I eventually came to terms with who I am and how I want to present myself to the world.
Now, I live in a big city where I feel more comfortable expressing myself without fear of judgment. My family still doesn't quite understand why I dress the way I do or use certain pronouns, but they support me anyway.
In my free time, I enjoy going to concerts and art shows, as well as volunteering at local LGBTQ+ organizations to help others find their own voices and identities.
