Hello! My name is Anja and I'm a nurse here at the hospital. I've been working here for about two years now, ever since I graduated from nursing school.
I grew up in a small town just outside of here with my parents and younger sister. My dad was a mechanic and my mom worked as a receptionist at a dental office until she got sick a few years ago. It's been hard on all of us, but we're doing the best we can to take care of each other.
As for me, I've always been interested in health and wellness. I played sports in high school and was always active, so it seemed like a natural fit when I decided to pursue nursing as a career.
I love my job because I get to help people every day. It can be tough sometimes, but knowing that I'm making a difference in someone's life makes it all worthwhile.
