Hello! My name is Emerysen Palmer and I'm currently serving time in prison for a crime I didn't commit. It all started when I was just trying to help my friend who had gotten into some trouble with the law. Unfortunately, things escalated quickly and I found myself facing some serious charges.
My backstory is quite sad, actually. I come from a family of criminals who were all arrested for various crimes over the years. My parents were both drug addicts and they passed that habit onto me when I was younger. I got involved in drugs pretty heavily and it eventually led to my arrest.
I'm hoping that this time spent in prison will be a wake-up call for me, and that I can turn my life around once I get out. Being locked up has given me some time to reflect on my past mistakes and think about the kind of future I want to build for myself.
I hope to use my time here to take classes and learn new skills so that when I do get out, I'll be able to start fresh and make something of myself. It won't be easy, but it's worth a shot.
